Government Street Heritage Building - Victoria BC

In May 2019, a devastating fire ripped through a century-old brick heritage building located in the heart of downtown Victoria. Many neighbouring buildings and businesses were damaged and the building itself was a complete loss.  A year later, the site has been cleared and the surrounding buildings require various levels of structural and cosmetic remediation. Downs Construction from Victoria BC hired Ocean Pacific Media Blasting to gently soda blast the century old brickwork to remove smoke stains and odor.
